I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New York, as well as a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, with over three years of experience working with clients of varying backgrounds. I have a Masters degree in Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor in Art from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. I combine those elements to create a unique therapeutic experience.
I enjoy working with teenagers, the LGBTQ+ population, and couples looking for help on depression, anxiety, OCD, marital stress, PTSD and more.
I believe that therapy is a space where we can open ourselves. I also believe therapy to work best when it is tailored to the client using multiple modalities for a customized experience. I pride myself on being able to provide a nonjudgemental and inclusive space that allows clients to feel safe in exploring their emotions. One of my strongest attributes is my ability to develop rapport with others quickly.
I provide my clients with unconditional support and hope to motivate them to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Starting the process can take some courage, but I am here to help. Let's get to work!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kerriann Chiaravalle. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Kerriann made me feel very comfortable talking and she is very professional. She gave me good advice before the session ended which will allow me to continue working on bettering myself in-between sessions.
Keri has been an excellent therapist for my wife and i. She is an excellent listener and makes both of us feel heard. We would highly recommend her to other couples
Felt very comfortable with Kerriann from the start and look forward to where our sessions will go in the coming weeks.
She definitely helps me pin point what makes going on and the deeper meaning behind it. Also give me homework to do/work on before our next session. She really listens to you!
Kerriann was great to work with. Extremely responsive and had many helpful insights and suggestions.
Kerri is great and has helped me become a better version of myself.
I was incredibly impressed with Kerri. In just one session she was able to articulate things that I’d been struggling with for a long time, which was such a relief to know that someone understood what I was experiencing. In one half hour video session, she made me feel heard, understood, and also gave me some tools and ideas to help manage my struggles. I felt safe and supported by her. I would highly recommend working with her if you’re looking for a therapist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and is willing to support you through the work you need to do to get to a better place.
