About Me

Hello. First, I want to say that I am glad that you came here for help and I am sure that you will find a good match for the kind of help that you need.

Although, I have recently been licensed as a counselor, I have been practicing for 14 years. Most of my experience has come in working with adolescents and children. However, I have also had quite a bit of experience working with adults as well. I do enjoy working with from all different backgrounds and ages.

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling from Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania in 2006. Since then I have sought to continue to educated myself in many different modalities so that I can be as well rounded as I can be to meet the needs of many counselees. I have learned and practiced the benefits of Mindfulness, Relaxation, and tapping into one's own spirituality. I have had extensive training in trauma focused therapies and helping individuals to successfully move forward beyond these events in their lives. This means that I have also worked from the framework of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Reality Therapy among other modalities.

My therapeutic style allows you as the client to discover what strategies and tools will work best for you. I will be walking with you while you are making the change that you see happening. You will be given work to do between sessions and you will then notice and be motivated by the progress that you are making.

I believe in helping individuals see how changing perspective every so slightly can make a big difference. I desire to see the individual come to realize their untapped potential as I have seen this in my own life and have seen others grasp this. So, once again, you are at the right place. I look forward to meeting you and working on this goals together.

I love working with Kevin. A few months back my professional stress was paralyzing and my anxiety was crippling. The joy in life is starting to come back and I feel better than I have in years.

Being paired with Kevin has been the best for me and my mental health. He was flexible in scheduling which was important for me as a mom. He gave me the tools I needed to work through my anxiety and got me through the most stressful few months of my life. He is kind and can bring levity to darkness. I highly recommend him.

Kevin is a great listener. He dissects everything you say and offers advice and help. He also is there to listen to you vent as well. Sometimes some problems just need to expressed out loud and he allows it to happen organically.
Kevin offers a variety of ways to help, and lets you choose what you’re most comfortable with. He makes opening up easy, which I find to be most important.

Kevin has helped me a ton so far. He has unique ways to deal with issues I would not have thought of or found myself.

I appreciate that Kevin listens carefully to what I am saying and he offers practical suggestions, in line with my faith, without any criticism or judgement. I am thankful that he shares some of his relevant life experiences. Even though we only had one session, my impression is that he actually understands how I feel and he wants to help me attain my goals.
