I am an experienced psychotherapist with advanced training in evidence-based and solution-focused therapies. I earned my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from University of South Florida and have since had extensive experience with Trauma recovery and Post Trauma Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I have worked with diverse populations throughout my career. I have comprehensive experience with Military, both active duty and retired, as well as their families. Coming from a military background myself I have insight that a lot of civilians aren’t privy to which gives me additional insight into the issues we face as a community and human beings.
I am experienced with adults and children as well as the LGBTQ community.
I have over 7 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including individual and couples counseling, outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric, and large nonprofits practices.
I have considerable knowledge and personal understanding of Depression, Stress, and Anxiety. I believe our belief systems strongly influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions toward many activating events in our lives and help shape us into the people we are today and the decisions we make daily, therefore I am a strong advocate for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
