About me

Hello, my name is Kimberly Alvarez. I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 5 years experience. As a therapist, my passion is to support my clients to cultivate healthy long-lasting relationships with themselves and others while remaining authentic and empathic. My belief is that through self-love, boundaries, and awareness we can remove things from our lives that no longer serve us in order to create long lasting positive change. I am a first generation Mexican American, as a bilingual provider, I aspire to dismantle the stigma associated with mental health. I provide support, guidance, and a safe space to allow my clients to find growth and feel empowered throughout their healing journey. I approach treatment from a Trauma-Informed, Cognitive Behavioral, Culturally Competent, and problem solving perspective, providing guidance and offering tools to help you along the way. My goal is to empower and be an advocate for my clients.

I had only one session with Kimberly but this session was very productive. Kimberly is very good listener and she's giving a lot of helpful advices. I love that she is giving some homework and that she's really understanding. After one session I was fullfield wth positive energy and I'm looking forward for our next session
