About Me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Santa Monica, CA. I specialize in treating eating disorders / disordered eating, addictions, and co-occurring mood disorders.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as an office administrator in the entertainment industry for many years. My decision to change careers stemmed from my own recovery; I knew I wanted to help others on their journey to health, wellness, and freedom the way that my therapists had helped me. I take an active and collaborative approach to therapy and welcome each client to "come as you are." I believe that therapy should be a warm and safe environment in which anyone can talk about what's really going on, with no fear of being judged for their thoughts, feelings, or behaviors.

If you want to feel more stable and secure in your emotions, break free from addictive behaviors, make peace with food, or learn to love your body, please reach out. I'm so excited to meet you!

A wonderful listener, and definitely good and helping to guide the conversation to find answers, or to find the next question along the path.

Highly recommended.

I’ve been working with Kimberly for about two weeks, she’s my first councilor/therapist and she’s been helping me to “crack the code” on the complexities of my thinking. I’ve had anxiety for a small part of my adult life and it’s been giving me issues lately when it came to my newest love interest. Kimberly is helping me to narrow down my thoughts in a very helpful way and my thinking has been more clear now that I know the answers to my issues. I highly recommend Kimberly; she’s always responding to me in a very timely manner and she knows how to explain things in a very non-intimidating way; I like her and she’s great.
