My name is Kimberly Boren, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oklahoma. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Women and Gender Studies, from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. I have worked in a multitude of settings with various individuals and groups, both in outpatient and crisis settings. I have helped individuals to work to decrease depression symptoms, suicidal thoughts, and anxiety symptoms, as well as improve family/relationships issues, learn helpful parenting skills, heal from trauma/abuse, along with many others. My approach is very client-centered, which means that you get to take the driver’s seat and steer your treatment how you would like. You are the expert in yourself, and I am just here to guide you! I believe that having someone who is outside of your immediate circle, who is unbiased and has no personal relationship to what is going on, can be beneficial in helping us to see things from a different and new perspective. I hope to be that unbiased, non-judgmental, and open-minded person with whom you choose to share your current struggles.
