About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years experience in the counseling profession. As a professional counselor, I have had the opportunity to work with many different populations with various issues and concerns. My experiences have included individuals and groups who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and many other concerns.
My approach to therapy is building a strong therapeutic connection with respectful, nonjudgmental, empathic relationships with my clients. I believe that we work together as a team to meet the need of the client. I mostly use a CBT approach due to its suitability for so many different issues, but I also include many techniques from Solution-Focused, DBT, and Person-Centered depending on my clients' need.
I firmly believe that one who is courageous enough to seek help deserves respect and dignity while learning to empower themselves to work through their current issue and build a healthier life with more appropriate coping skills for the challenges we face.
I look forward to building a therapeutic relationship to assist you with learning to use your own personal power to feel successful.

I’ve enjoyed working with Kimberly, she is non judgemental and creates a safe space for me to open up. I recommend chatting with her especially if you’re new to therapy
