Kimberly Hudson-Fahey

(M.Ed., LMHC)

About Me

With 25 years of experience, I have helped many clients with anxiety, depression, stress and self esteem issues. My specialities include anxiety, depression and stress management. I know that balancing family life, school, sports and other activities can be challenging for everyone. I work not only with the individual but the family and couples as well when necessary. In addition, I incorporate a holistic approach including traditional talking therapy with mindfulness techniques, education and coping skills.
In my practice, the focus is on providing a counseling experience that is practical and useful for each individual. The aim is to support my clients in ways that are most helpful for them. Therefore I focus on tailoring the therapy experience to the needs of each client, family or couple.
In addition, I help my clients and families negotiate through that difficult and possibly confusing time of career change, college, separation, divorce, loss of a family member or chronic illness. I incorporate techniques into therapy for success outside the therapy session as well. My hope is to help the client move forward successfully with peace of mind.

Kim is fantastic! I met with at least 5 counselors in person before trying Better Help. None of them clicked with me so I didn't start sessions with them. I really think what sets this website apart is that the initial questions you answer matches you with the best counselor possible. Kim listens to what I have to say, but more importantly asks questions I've never considered. She provides multiple perspectives on my life situations so I can conceptualize events in a new way and better understand myself and my relationships with loved ones. I highly recommend Kim. Her judgment is spot on and you can tell how deeply she cares about her career from our interactions. I appreciate her support and confidence in me. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!

I’m wasn’t sure how I was going to like this process but Kimberly made it normal and I just went with it. I need someone to talk to at times and she is gives me tips on how to overcome the daily struggles I give myself.
