About Me

Life is full of challenges. Sometimes we get stuck in patterns of behaving that are not in our best interest. Our thoughts can be our worst enemy. Setbacks and unexpected situations may leave us reeling. Interpersonal relationships may be difficult to navigate. Anxiety and overwhelm can make us feel out of control or rob us of our motivation.

But there is help.

For the past twenty-five years I have made my career by helping people.
Helping people is my passion.
Helping people help themselves is my joy.

With a Master’s degree in Counseling and Education, NJ State Licensing as a Professional Counselor, Certifications as an Integrated Wellness and Life Coach, Divorce Coach, Divorce Mediator, and numerous other certifications in the fields of counseling, coaching and education as well as over two and a half decades of experience, I still love what I do – empowering people to reach their full potential.

My varied experience has always led me to helping people understand and manage their emotions. I am empathetic and supportive, non-judgmental and intuitive. I help people recognize their personal strengths and draw upon their resiliency especially when dealing with challenges and obstacles. I help clients stay grounded, focused and in control during difficult times. I support individuals in clarifying their thoughts for improved communication and greater confidence. In addition, I assist people in reducing stress, anxiety and uncertainty in multiple areas including relationship issues, family and parenting concerns and career options.

Recently, in response to a growing number of clients impacted by divorce, as well as going through my own very painful divorce and associated transitions, I became a Certified Divorce Coach. I have expanded my practice to meet the unique needs of individuals experiencing the dissolution of their marriage. I specialize in working with stay at home moms dealing with divorce. I assist individuals in all phases of transition manage the overwhelm and gain clarity to make the best possible decisions with no regrets.

I look forward to working together to help you manage you emotions, overcome obstacles, reach your goals and move forward to live your best life.

Kim has been great in helping me rationalize a lot of my thoughts. She sets clear goals and helps me move past a lot of personal guilt that I hold.

Kimberly is an excellent counselor. She is smart, empathetic, and gets right into solutions and positive processes that enable growth necessary for self-empowerment. Her support and partnership in helping me identify approaches that will benefit my long-term success are invaluable. Her communication style is excellent--the methodology she uses to present scenarios helps to shift perspective --thus increasing my ability to be proactive instead of overwhelmed by issues. I highly recommend Kimberly.

Kimberly is wonderful. I couldn't be happier having her as my therapist.
