About Me

Life is full of challenges. Sometimes we get stuck in patterns of behaving that are not in our best interest. Our thoughts can be our worst enemy. Setbacks and unexpected situations may leave us reeling. Interpersonal relationships may be difficult to navigate. Anxiety and overwhelm can make us feel out of control or rob us of our motivation.

But there is help.

For the past twenty-five years I have made my career by helping people.
Helping people is my passion.
Helping people help themselves is my joy.

With a Master’s degree in Counseling and Education, NJ State Licensing as a Professional Counselor, Certifications as an Integrated Wellness and Life Coach, Divorce Coach, Divorce Mediator, and numerous other certifications in the fields of counseling, coaching and education as well as over two and a half decades of experience, I still love what I do – empowering people to reach their full potential.

My varied experience has always led me to helping people understand and manage their emotions. I am empathetic and supportive, non-judgmental and intuitive. I help people recognize their personal strengths and draw upon their resiliency especially when dealing with challenges and obstacles. I help clients stay grounded, focused and in control during difficult times. I support individuals in clarifying their thoughts for improved communication and greater confidence. In addition, I assist people in reducing stress, anxiety and uncertainty in multiple areas including relationship issues, family and parenting concerns and career options.

Recently, in response to a growing number of clients impacted by divorce, as well as going through my own very painful divorce and associated transitions, I became a Certified Divorce Coach. I have expanded my practice to meet the unique needs of individuals experiencing the dissolution of their marriage. I specialize in working with stay at home moms dealing with divorce. I assist individuals in all phases of transition manage the overwhelm and gain clarity to make the best possible decisions with no regrets.

I look forward to working together to help you manage you emotions, overcome obstacles, reach your goals and move forward to live your best life.

Kimberly is the best. She remembers concerns and things we talked about weeks or months ago. She responds to messages in a very timely manner and always has different resources and ideas to offer help.

Kimberly has helped me really shift my mindset in such a short time. She listens and really understands. She gives actionable recommendations that really change things. I've done other therapy and this was by far the best experience.

Kim has been my counselor for a few months. In that short amount if time, she has helped me so much. She offers really constructive feedback and is kind and receptive. I never had any previous success with counseling.. so this has been a breath of fresh air.

I have struggled to find the right therapist for me for years. I started using better help when I was away on a trip last year and couldn’t have in person therapy sessions and I really needed it at the time. I didn’t think that online counseling would be the solution , but Kimberly does an amazing job. She checks in with me throughout the week, sends me different coping skills and is a great listener when we have our live sessions. I feel so lucky to know Kimberly. Thank you so much for creating this amazing app. I have recommended it to many people I know !

Kimberly is amazing! She always responds to my messages in a timely manner, and I can tell that she truly cares. I feel like I can really open up to her about my problems without any judgements, and she offers so many great ways to help me. I cannot recommend her enough!

I did not want to write a positive review of Kim. Why? She is the best therapist I have had. And if I tell you how good she really is, you most likely will fill the time slots before I can book mine! But seriously, It is my first time using an online therapist compared to face to face. I am happy to have given it a chance and led me to Kimberly. Kimberly has shed the light to many hurts that I have gone through and has the perfect professional outlook delivered in an empathic way. Her perspectives and insight has brought out many understandings for me. I look forward to getting better and with Kimberly on my side I know I will.

Kimberly is an excellent counselor. She is smart, empathetic, and gets right into solutions and positive processes that enable growth necessary for self-empowerment. Her support and partnership in helping me identify approaches that will benefit my long-term success are invaluable. Her communication style is excellent--the methodology she uses to present scenarios helps to shift perspective --thus increasing my ability to be proactive instead of overwhelmed by issues. I highly recommend Kimberly.
