“I believe every person must learn to take responsibility for their actions, but also that every person has an impact on the people in their lives. My goal is to empower individuals to first improve the quality of their own lives and then to act as agents of change in the lives of others. Counseling can have many benefits, such as decreasing anxiety, overcoming depression, managing stress, improving relationships, increasing self-awareness, gaining peace, and discovering meaning and taking control of your life”.......

Dr. Patterson has been incredible to work with. She listens, engages, asks thoughtful questions, and overall makes me feel comfortable opening up to her. After a few sessions I’m noticing a huge difference and now I look forward to our regular sessions.
Really like her. Asks engaging questions.
Dr. Patterson has responded in a timely manner and has listened and engaged in my counseling sessions. She has made me rethink boundaries I had in place and try to focus on my wants vs needs. It’s a pleasure counseling with her.
Dr. Patterson is not only extremely helpful but also has a good head on her shoulders when it comes to thinking of solutions for others to work on becoming better. She's able to help you take a step back and look at things in a healthy and productive way.

Kimberly asks very thoughtful questions that I feel help you really begin to dig into issues you have. She has thoughtful responses and she is very respectful about letting you know she has received your message if she thinks she will be delayed responding to you. I have appreciated the advice she has shared and I am confident that I can disclose my anxieties to her without judgement.
Kimberly is very approachable, which is important for me, as I tend to be averse to opening up to people. Her advice was sound and attainable for me, and she helped me shift my perspective on things. Highly recommend.
Kimberly is a wonderful counselor. She has helped me stay focus on the positives and encouraged me to not give up. I appreciate how attentive she is and I am thankful for her help.
Kimberly helped me more in one month than two years of counseling had done for me in the past. She guided me towards answers that I never knew existed.
Kimberly has been responsive even when I haven't been! I do appreciate having her as a counselor and an additional outlet in my life.
