About me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. I have over 10 years of experience working in addiction and mental health counseling. The client’s I have worked closely with have had a wide range of concerns from mild depression, life changes, relationship issues, parenting struggles, to bipolar disorder and dual diagnosis.
My counseling style is very client centered and flexible, I want to work together to figure out what will help you grow and make positive changes. My goal is to join you on your journey and help you meet your potential. My approaches combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, humanistic, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I often use the help of worksheets and art exercises to help teach and practice different coping skills and help you engage in self-discovery.
Reaching out for help is a scary first step, but it’s usually the hardest. I will provide a safe, supportive place for you to explore your thoughts and feelings while providing empathy and support. The best thing about therapy is that there is no judgement as you share your concerns.
You got this! I look forward to working together.
