About me

Research shows that individuals in other countries outside of the United States are simply happier. According to U.S. News, the United States comes in at a staggering 19th place, as far as World’s Happiest Countries goes.

I have traveled to over 40 countries to gain a better understanding of precisely why this is. I seek to find not only why individuals in other countries are happier, what qualities they possess, in addition to what their daily lifestyles encompass that encourage happiness levels.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor and life/work coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, ADHD and ASD.

I have a Bachelors from Howard University, a Masters from Howard University, and am in the final stages of my PhD from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

My counseling style is empathetic and calm. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is client-centered while utilizing positive psychology, and tailored to what the client needs.

Kira is super upbeat, and very easy to work with. She allows you to control your sessions which is important to me. I would highly suggest her. I have nothing, but good sessions and it is really helping me cope with Medical school stress and anxiety.
