About me
Hello, my name is Kirby Hollingsworth and I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I have over four plus years of clinical experience working with young and middle aged adults. I have seen individuals in multiple settings includuing private practice, in-home, at school and in the residential setting. I obtained my MSW in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2015 and shortly after acquired my LSW and School Social Worker certificate. After two years of clinical experience working in a psycho-dynamic/family structural and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I obtained my clinical license. I have experience working with individuals, families, couples and groups. In my practice I concentrate on treating the individual/couple utilizing CBT, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness (Positive Psychology) and Motivational Interviewing. I have multiple years of experience with helping adults of all ages achieve increased positive ego strength and improved social/emotional skills. I am currently taking clients who are seeking psychotherapy for a spectrum of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem (ego), and complex relationships (attachments).
