About Me

I am a native Californian who grew up in a very health-conscious family. I was taught, from an early age how important food and exercise are for our overall well-being as well as other natural modalities to think and feel your best. When you feel your best you are able to excel in the life of your choosing. You are fully able to enjoy your life.

I received my Masters of Counseling at Northwestern University.

My practice integrates a holistic/psychodynamic approach as well as integrative nutrition and medicine. I look at the whole person mentally and physically, only then can you begin to feel your absolute best. I create a safe, and non-judgemental environment so that you can begin to explore your life and decide what changes you would like to make on your terms.

Thoughts become behaviors. My holistic, integrative approach to therapy combines different strategies to talk through your specific issues and find short and long-term solutions that promote wellness. Empower yourself, your relationships, your life.

When you’re in the throes of anxiety or depression, psychotherapy can seem like an intimidating, almost impossible undertaking. But making this commitment to yourself is the key to making life less intimidating and more manageable.

I am passionate about what I do and I look forward to helping you design the life that you want.

Kirsten is empathetic and helpful. We've been working on how to deal with feelings of resentment and defensiveness. She helps validate my emotions while giving me tools to work on releasing them. Her suggestions to practice "loving-kindness" meditations and identify the source of my feelings have helped me a ton. I recommend her for people looking for a great listener and an actively helpful therapist!

I’m so grateful to have the support of someone who has a background knowledge in attachment, anxiety, and depression. Working with you has been comforting and eye opening to the concerns I’ve had about my bodily and mental reactions, and the tools/“homework” given have been practices that I try to integrate into my regime as best as possible. Looking back on the time between sessions enhances the feeling that I’m not stagnant, and that I am doing the work, and that in and of itself has brought me so much joy.
