About me

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
I have been counseling for almost 20 years and can tell you that this important first step is by far one of the biggest. Browse profiles, have phone consults: A little research goes a long way in finding a good match.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and licensed in both Illinois and Massachusetts. I have worked with a variety of clients in some pretty ‘diverse’ settings which has afforded me a wide and empathic lens from which to view my clients and their stories. Throughout my career, I noticed subtle themes were repeatedly presented to me: disconnection of self, lack of purpose, second guessing life choices. As a result, I returned to school and completed my PhD as well as my Yoga Teacher Training (R-YTT-200). This study of Aging coupled with mind-body practices allowed me to offer clients a new perspective regarding psychological wellness, one in which ‘age in years’ was not the critical factor. Instead, healthy aging is understood as a much larger construct, and one that you can take an active role in.

I have helped many clients with symptoms of depression and anxiety. I have had the honor of accompanying many clients on the journey through addiction and recovery. I would be happy to speak with you, too, regarding your concerns and goals.
I look forward to hearing from you.
