Kristi Clements

About Me

My name is Kristi Clements. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker practicing in Iowa. I have been practicing in the clinical social work field for 13 years. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Master in Social Work. I have worked with different populations including late teens, adults, couples, new mothers and maturing adults. My experience includes working with individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, postpartum depression, and major life changes among others.

I use a number of techniques depending on what works for the patient. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, solution focused techniques, and mindfulness practices. You are the most important part of the counseling relationship. We start where you are and work towards the goals you want to achieve. I look forward to working with you and guiding you in meeting your therapeutic goals. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
