I am a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida and have practiced psychotherapy for over 10 years. I obtained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. I have worked for several substance abuse treatment programs as well as a child abuse prevention program with a focus in supervising therapists and treating underlying mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety. While there may be one individual that seeks out treatment, there are times when the family or significant other may be involved in the treatment process which can be incredibly beneficial. I truly believe that if you can change your thoughts, you can change your life. I believe by focusing on recognizing thought patterns that may contribute to our overall feelings of loneliness, emptiness, depressed mood or anxiety we can completely transform our lives. I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach and lean toward Existential theory in my practice.

Kristi is easy to talk to. She is supportive while also great at helping me hold myself accountable. She has been a huge help in processing past trauma and current stressors and behaviors.
Kristi is amazing! She has been very vital to my mental health. She is a true asset to Better Help.
She is understanding and kind and checks on me periodically even if I haven’t reached out to her.
She is caring and attentive! Really supportive therapist!
Kristi's compassionate and kind approach made it very easy for me to share and work on the things I needed to do to feel better. Talking to her was like having a weight lifted off my chest. She provided me with great tools and things to practice so that I can help myself too.
Kristi is very sweet & personable.
Kristi is a fantastic counselor who can pull on a variety of experiences and resources to present patients with illustrative guides on how to best tackle problems. She is also great at reinforcing positive behavior while also pointing out where errors have been made. Great overall!
