Hello. I am licensed professional counselor in Texas and nationally certified with 9 years experience. During my career, I have worked with a variety of individuals, including military combat stress populations, individuals in my private practice, and crisis group trauma settings. I am certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neurofeedback, Telemental Health Counseling (BC-TMH).
Counseling provides many evidence based practices to assist in the journey to emotional well-being. My approach is client-centered drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and relational cultural theories.
There is a unique component to each therapeutic relationship that goes beyond evidence based therapies, this is the genuine and harmonious balance in the therapeutic relationship. I help clients achieve this balance by using an integrated and interpersonal approach.
I will meet you where your are and tailor an approach that is specific to your goals. I view the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to partner with you to process life's challenges and achieve a feeling of contentment and growth. In therapy we will collaborate in a supportive and caring way to identify your goals, develop an effective plan, and move you to a more joyful place in life.

Kristen is a very helpful counselor.
Kristin is a wonderful counselor. She is thoughtful, curious, smart and I always feel like she has my best interests at heart. I feel very lucky to have her as my counselor.
Kristin has been very helpful, thoughtful, and engaging and has helped me analyze my sources of stress and interrogate the thought processes that lead there. I highly recommend her service to anyone looking for a quality, dedicated counselor.
I am fairly new to therapy and going through a really rough time. Kristin has been so insightful, I’ve started taking some notes after my visits! I’m so thankful to have her on my team. She has a nurturing positive energy that I find very comforting.
Kristin is absolutely fabulous! I’ve worked with a fair amount of counselors due to moving and insurance and Kristin takes the counseling to the next level.
Kristin is great! She is exactly the type of therapist that helps me process information !
Very pleased with my experience with better help.
We have had one meeting and I feel Kristin read me very well. I felt comfortable talking to her instantly and she was warm, kind and professional.
Kristin is amazing! She is polite and knowledgeable, and has helped me immensely through EMDR therapy. I am very thankful for Kristin, and would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, or other mental health issues.
Kristin seems to understand me and she's helped me realize things about myself that previous counseling never uncovered. I feel supported by her...and I trust her.
Kristin is very professional!
I really appreciate Kristin’s communication and approach. Her insight is extremely helpful and allows me to make sense of things that I previously had trouble with understanding. I’m really grateful that she offers chat sessions and it makes the process easier. Especially as someone who hasn’t had much success through the classic process.
With the loss of my stepdad, she has been a Godsend. A lot of counselors I have spoken with seemed pushy and not understanding that I need to gradually work my way into things. She has been here to listen and recommend and provide me with amazing outlets that fit the way I live my life. She is helping me with my grief, anxiety, and other things I have going on. I do not feel judged or looked down on. If you have been through counseling you understand sometimes it can feel that way. I feel safe in our conversations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to her.
Kristin is compassionate and helpful. She has a deep wealth of knowledge and shares that knowledge and information in an effective manner.
I felt comfortable with her immediately. She was warm and inviting. She listened and guided me exactly where I needed to go to find the path I had been avoiding. She followed up with exercises to do on my own to deepen my understanding of things and to reflect on. Wonderful.
It's early in my counseling relationship with her, but she's been very professional and helpful thus far. She responds always within 24 hours.
Kristen is a very awesome counselor and I would 100% recommend her to a friend or colleague. She is always there to help and provide inspiring words of healing and wisdom. She has helped to put me on a path to being a better person and I will always be grateful for that.
She is great and always responds in a timely manner. She offers me all my option and ensures that we discuss every one.
