About me

Hello,

My name is Kristin McNeese and I am a License Clinical Social Worker. I acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at California Polytechnic University Pomona. I also earned a Master of Social Work degree at Azusa Pacific University. I have been trained in various evidence based practices such as Seeking Safety, Crisis Oriented Recovery Services, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Managing and Adaptive Practices.

I have experience working with a broad age range starting from age four up to mature adulthood. I offer parenting skills for youth clients and will facilitate healthy communication in session. Sometimes in life we struggle to manage and process what we experience. Well I’m here to let you know you are not alone. I am here to assist you in working though some of life’s challenges you are faced with. As a clinician I draw from the humanistic and cognitive behavioral approaches. These approaches will assist you in exploring your thoughts and how they influence your feelings and behaviors. I’d like to provide you with practical tools to help you process and cope with daily struggles. I would also like to help you develop a mindset of positive growth to improve your confidence in facing your challenges in life.

I will be available during the evening Monday through Thursday via video and by phone. I look forward to collaborating with you in working toward creating positive change in your life.

I would recommend Kristin to anyone. She has helped me with my depression and anxiety during these uncertain times. She is good at helping view issues from several perspectives. One of the most helpful things is that she is really good at helping celebrate my victories no matter how small!

My name is Megan Corpuz and Kristin has been my therapist for maybe a little over a year now and I can say she has been one of the greatest people that has entered my life. I wanted to give her this review because she has helped me get through one of the darkest moments in my life. She is someone who I feel safe and so connected with. Thank you BetterHelp for allowing our lives to intertwine. I don’t know where I would be without this service. I am truly grateful.
