Hello there! My name is Kristina and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including emergency rooms, long-term care facilities, non-profit human services agencies and both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. I have spent several years working with individuals and families dealing with sudden or traumatic grief and loss. I have also headed a psychology department for a non-profit human services agency and have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in areas which include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and parenting issues.
No one is free of stress or pain in their lives. We all experience it in one way or another. And no one person's experience is never the same as another's. Sometimes those stresses and that pain can become overwhelming. They can leave you feeling crushed by the weight of it all, or emotionally drained and unable to give anymore. This is where therapy comes in.
I believe in creating a safe space based on respect, compassion and kindness. I strongly oppose judgement or stigmatization. My approach combines client centered therapy and motivational interviewing, in addition to working with an approach that focuses on the strengths that you have. You will set the pace and you will identify the goals that you would like to achieve in your life. Together, we will focus on your strengths and identify ways that I may support you toward meeting your goals.
If you are already here, you have taken the first step toward growing as a person and improving your life. And I'm here for it! Congratulations and welcome to the beginning of a new you. I look forward to working with you and helping you through this experience.

Kristina has been tremendously helpful to me as I navigate blended family and conflict with stepchildren. She balances listening & providing advice/talking points.
Kristina has been amazing throughout all these months we worked together. She helped me step into a new perspective and is holding me accountable to lifestyle habits that has turned my life around. She is an excellent listener without judgement and always makes me feel at ease.
I’ve had such a great experience working with Kristina. She’s helped me gain so much clarity and confidence that I had been missing. I will never forget how kind and understanding she has been. I’m excited for my future post-therapy.
Kristina makes me feel comfortable sharing my feelings. She is so kind and professional I have grown so much with her guidance.
This was my first experience with therapy and Kristina was excellent to work with. She was a great listener, got to know me and understand my priorities and challenges, and offered good advice. She routinely had hours early and late and the in day and was always on time and prepared. I'd highly recommend her.
I had a bad experience with therapy prior to meeting Kristina and when I met her, was like a light bulb going on! She is thoughtful, an excellent listener, and offers on-point advice/guidance. I look forward to our sessions and know she is able to help me meet my goals! 5 star review!
Professional, timely, empathetic
Kristina has been incredibly helpful during the very unexpected loss of my father. She spent the beginning of her career as an end of life social worker at a hospital, and her background has been incredibly helpful. She responds quickly, listens as needed, gives helpful suggestions, responds quickly, and is compassionate and supportive.
Kristina is the first therapist I've found that I truly feel comfortable and understood. I can come to her with any problems or worries on my mind, and she always makes me feel respected and validated. Through our sessions, she's taught me a lot on how to process, handle, and cope the areas I needed help in. She's always made me feel so supported and comforted. Through talking to her I've been raving to my friends how amazing it is to find a therapist that really gets you, and I've been referring them to BetterHelp in hopes that they will have an experience as great as mine has been!
Kristina is a great listener and is able to understand my point of view. She is very respectful of boundaries and never makes me feel any pressure to share anything I don’t feel comfortable with.
So far she’s been really good at guiding me through difficult situations and makes me feel really comfortable opening up to her.
