About Me
Has this year created feelings of overwhelming stress, anxiety and depression for you and your family members? With over a decade of mental health experience, I am here to support you as we navigate together through these uncertain times. My training and experience cuts across a wide range of therapeutic needs, including: mood disorders such as Anxiety and Depression, trauma (both chronic and acute), child and adolescence treatment, grief and loss (including chronic illness/pain and end of life care), issues unique to military members and their families, and kink positive/alternative culture proficiency.
As a Marriage and Family therapist, my therapeutic framework looks at the client's needs in relation to the systems (family, parent-child, couple, work, etc.) the client functions in. My treatment approaches utilize evidenced-based models such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Contextual Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT and Family Systems. My relational style is to provide unconditional acceptance and warmth, and I am deeply committed to providing a safe space, free of judgement or criticism, to allow my clients to explore their own strengths and solutions.
The first step towards change is often the hardest, and congratulations for taking that leap of faith in yourself. I am here to walk those next steps towards your life goals with you, you are worth it.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kristina Huddleston. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Kristina is awesome!
I’m so grateful to have Kristina Huddleston as my therapist as I navigate through my grief and loss. I’ve been going to her for several months now and I’m so much better off because of it. She gives me valuable resources and has equipped me to guide and lead conversations as a caregiver/wife. I feel more confident in my communication skills at a time where my emotions can be all over the place. I have also learned ( from her) the importance of validating and listening to what my emotions are communicating to me. Kristina consistently makes me feel welcome, heard and supported which is why I look forward to meeting with her every week. I highly recommend her and think Better Help is really lucky to have her on their platform!
Kristina is knowledgeable, dedicated, and empathetic. She listens well and provides a safe environment to share. She provides great feedback and food for thought while encouraging me to take a course of action that is right for me.
I feel good talking with her. She gets me.. an understands my goals for the future.
I am very grateful to have been chosen to work with Kristina. She not only assists me through my tough days, but she also challenges me on my best. I enjoy our conversations and the ease of the app, makes it more enjoyable than having to drive and be flustered in changing new therapists through insurances.
