Kristine Crawford, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Colorado with over 5 years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief/loss, career challenges, substance abuse, and mental illness. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked in a wide range of settings including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and community outpatient clinics.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and empathy, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My style of therapy is open and varies based upon the needs of my client. I believe in an honest, direct approach in which you, the client, will be an active participant and I meet you where you are in life and we work towards your goals together. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I look forward to working with you!
