I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working as a Individual and Family Therapist and case management Social Worker. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, difficulty with life transitions, and histories of trauma.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and motivational. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral techniques, humanist therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. I don't believe everyone in therapy should have their needs met through cookie-cutter methods and strategies. Unique situations should be addressed through individualized interventions and methodologies. I truly believe that the therapeutic process doesn't have to be a linear process. Everyone's journey looks different and that's perfectly fine.
