About Me

Hi! I am a licensed Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Texas and a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Master of Science in Counseling. I am a seasoned mental health counselor with over 5 years of experience working with people who have diverse needs. My studies and specialized training and experience includes: depression, ADHD, Attachment, Behavioral issues, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD, trauma, and anger management. I was drawn to the helping profession through my love for understanding mental illness. A wealth of life experience provides me with an ability to understand common patterns which affect most people in their journey. I am privileged to work with families and individuals from young children through older adults ( I prefer adults). My role of a counselor is to be understanding, show empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. My goal is to serve others and truly make a difference as I walk beside and assist in the navigation of life challenges as clients find wholeness for themselves.
