About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan, and soon to be licensed in New York as well. I graduated from the University of Michigan with my bachelor's in psychology, then from Michigan State University with my master’s in social work. Most of my experience is working with severe mental illness in a community-based setting. I worked as a clinical therapist providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for 3 years with a focus on those who suffer from depression, self-harm, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, and more. My passion is helping others figure out how to live their best lives. I am here to help you figure out and process issues you may be having and assisting you finding solutions that work. My style includes using what I know from DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and my own life experiences to provide the best care possible to you. I'm always open to feedback on how the course of therapy develops and strongly encourage open communication -- the goal is to help you get what you need out of therapy, especially if it means I can adapt to suit those needs!

It takes strength and courage to seek assistance from others. I am here to help you on your journey and hope we can build a strong working relationship. Congratulation’s, on taking the first step forward towards obtaining your hopes and dreams!

I look forward to working with you!
