About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have over 18 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and adults in the counseling field. I work with people that experience a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and addiction.

Asking for help, being vulnerable with your therapist, and doing the work to become the best version of yourself takes a lot of courage. No matter what struggles you’re having or where you are in your healing process, I’m here to listen and help. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, warm, and goal-oriented. I use primarily Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients recognize and understand their thoughts and feelings, set goals, and feel empowered in their ability to heal themselves. This is your safe space to work on the things that are important to you. I feel honored to be a part of your healing process and look forward to working with you.

I enjoy how open she is and how majority of things she doesn’t let bother her. I am thankful for her to show me new ways to deal with things I don’t understand or know how to deal with. I am so glad to have her in my life.

I just started working with Kym but I love how she doesn’t judge at all. She asks great questions and is able to give advice on next steps.
