Kym Morrissey-Snarr

(MA, LIMHP, LPC)

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska. I have over 18 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and adults in the counseling field. I work with people that experience a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and addiction.

Asking for help, being vulnerable with your therapist, and doing the work to become the best version of yourself takes a lot of courage. No matter what struggles you’re having or where you are in your healing process, I’m here to listen and help. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, warm, and goal-oriented. I use primarily Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients recognize and understand their thoughts and feelings, set goals, and feel empowered in their ability to heal themselves. This is your safe space to work on the things that are important to you. I feel honored to be a part of your healing process and look forward to working with you.

I just started working with Kym but I love how she doesn’t judge at all. She asks great questions and is able to give advice on next steps.

Kym has done a wonderful job of creating a safe place for me to share, and she does a great job of making me feel that I’ve been heard. Being heard, being seen, and having someone to help me explore my thoughts is exactly the help I was hoping for.

Kym get's back to me in a very timely manner and checks in with me if I haven't checked in with her. She takes time on weekends and at night to respond to my needs. If she sees something isn't working, she will change what we are doing so we aren't working on things that aren't necessary.

Kym is wonderful! She’s got a wonderful sense of humor, and she’s very communicative. I love talking with her.
