About me

Hello, my name is Kyndra Scott! I am a Clinical social Worker licensed in the Washington State and Nevada. I have a combined 11 years in behavioral health, clinical consultation, and therapy. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice at Washington State University. I earned my Masters In Social Work from University of Nevada Las Vegas. I currently am working on my Doctorate of Psychology of California Southern University. Through out my practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with various mental health struggles. Some of these struggles range from psychosis, anger management, career goals, family needs, trauma, and stressful life events.

My style is compassionate and strengths-based. I believe in trying to make therapy a positive and life changing experience.  I believe in assisting my patients with their overall  goals by identifying roadblocks in their lives.

I consider myself to be an empowering resource in my clients life. I focus on using solution focused techniques to work with my clients so in many cases after a few session of therapy they are able to have the ability to move forward with a sense of confidence, tranquility, and control. For me it is important that you are the driver to therapy. I am here to support and assist. My role as a therapist is seen as the map holder while you navigate your map of life. There is no time like the present to become empowered!
