About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor in private practice with more than 5-years of experience. I have worked with the underserved population within the maximum-security prison system, including inmates on death row, provided counseling and community resources in substance abuse and early recovery. As a professional, I am here to offer you the emotional support that you need. I work with adults and adolescents who are experiencing challenges. I have a special interest in working with minorities to overcome the emotional trauma of inequality. I also have experience in working with adults who survived the process and distinctive emotional challenges of adoption

I also volunteer as an advocate working with organizations to bring about social change for women, children, and the LGBTQ community. My philosophy to helping is grounded in an integrative holistic approach to the therapeutic paradigm and is proven effective in improving the client outcome. I uplift the uniqueness of each client and promote the autonomy of every client. I use techniques that range from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to Person-Centered Therapy. I offer a safe and expressive environment with the deepest empathy. I would love to hear from you and answer any questions that you may have.
