LaShara Shaw, LCPC
About me
Hello. My name is LaShara, and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor. I am also a Doctoral candidate for Pastoral and Christian Counseling. It has been my pleasure working with consumers of varied ages, from children to senior citizens. My aim is to discover areas of difficulties and build strengths to foster a flourishing and meaningful life.
I endorse an integrative perspective of treatment to acknowledge the contexts of the body, mind, environment, and spirituality within treatment settings. I work in secular and Christian settings, and I respond to the goals of the consumers. I embrace compassion, empathy, and recognition that life has moments of suffering, but through value-driven committed action, there can be beautiful outcomes.
It will be wonderful to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Since starting with LaShara I have made a lot of steps forward in taking back my health and better myself. My progress has been the most assuring part of this process to let me know I made the right choice!

LaShara has been working with me for the past few months and I absolutely love all of the support and advice she has given me. She has provided me with the opportunity to open up about things I couldn’t really talk to anyone else about. She’s made it easier for me to understand my emotions and feelings towards things. Overall she is a great therapist and offers a lot of support and help where I need it. I wouldn’t have accomplished the things I have in the past few months without her.

LaShara is wonderful. She listens to me and validates how I feel and think. When I tell her about something I’m struggling with she offers several ways to help. She is very compassionate and you can tell that she truly cares for people.

Thanks so much for Ms LaSharas professionalism and being able to figure out what I need when I can’t express myself. Or when I don’t know what I need.
