About Me

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, I have been providing individual, family, and group therapies for 9 years. I have experience working with individuals with a wide variety of struggles, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, interpersonal problems, and individuals who have difficulty regulating their emotions for a variety of reasons, and enjoy teaching them how to regain control of their emotions and their lives. I am extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and enjoy helping individuals cope in the world they live in, through behavioral and acceptance skills. Recognizing the importance of feeling emotions, I work to help individuals learn how to understand and respond to their feelings in an effective way. I come from a warm and validating place as I help clients to recognize what is getting in the way of building their life worth living, and help them to move forward positively. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you!

I am so grateful to Laura. I have had struggles finding a therapist and have had some traumas caused by some in the past. I had given up on ever finding a therapist who could help (and not hurt!) me, but gave it one more go because I was in crisis. Laura is a gift. She's brilliant and understands me incredibly well. She listens and helps me sort out complex emotions..and my general crazy. She's thoughtful and empathetic, brilliant and insightful. I am deeply, deeply grateful to her. I am seeing light again and feeling like (with her support), I will not just survive, but thrive.
