About me

Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill *go heels* and have been working with individuals and families for 5 years. I work with clients who have a broad range of concerns including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, parenting challenges, and relationship difficulties. I enjoy helping others find a work/life balance and manage stressors in order to get the most enjoyment out of their lives.

I am an active therapist, meaning I like to do activities and practice techniques during and outside of therapy. I find that change and growth happen more rapidly this way. I work with a form of therapy called Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which focuses on changing thoughts and behaviors to help people feel better and experience more satisfaction with their lives. I also borrow from other models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which focuses on values guided change. Together we can learn strategies to manage the unpleasant feelings that come up during challenging times while keeping you engaged in what's most important to you.

If you value a genuine, honest, and warm relationship I may be the counselor for you.

Great and patient listener, emotionally supportive, all while keeping the conversation focused/productive. When she comments on what you've told her, you can tell she's given it a lot of thought. She's been very helpful to me, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone else!
