About Me

Life is an adventure with each stage creating both challenges and opportunities. From infancy to old age there are experiences to navigate and losses to grieve as we dig deep to understand and live our best lives.

Carl Rogers sums up my personal philosophy of counseling: "Before every session, I take a moment to remember my humanity. There is no experience that this man, woman or child has that I cannot share with them, no fear I cannot understand, no suffering I cannot care about because I too am human. No matter how deep their wound, they do not need to be ashamed in front of me. I too am vulnerable. And because of this I am enough. Whatever their story, they no longer need to be alone with it. This is what will allow healing to begin."

Individual counseling allows you to have a private place to talk and explore your own inner resources. Some benefits of counseling include less anxiety, relief from depression, greater self confidence, better relationships, trauma resolution, understanding losses, improved communication, assertiveness, ability to set boundaries, and increased creativeness.

Rediscover Meaning and Hope. Don't carry your mistakes around with you. Instead, place them under your feet and use them as stepping stones to rise above them. Schedule your appointment today and begin your journey to heal and live your best life.

“In the personal life, there is always grief more than enough, a heart-load for each of us on the dusty road.”
Mary Oliver
