About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience providing therapy to families, individual and groups. I am certified in CBT-D ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression), CBT-I ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as well as CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) along with a plethora of theoretical approaches.
My therapy style is engaging clients while displaying empathy, respect and a genuine concern for your well-being, coupled with respect and therapeutic support for what concerns you bring to the sessions. I would discuss with you which individual or combination of behavioral, cognitive, rational-emotional therapeutic approaches are the best for you. I have experience in working with individuals dealing with depression, PTSD from physical and emotional trauma, anxiety, conflict in their relationships, family conflict and behavioral issues.
I applaud your courage and fortitude to engage in therapy and will adjust the therapy to meet your individual needs.
I look forward to working with you.
Currently I am not accepting couples.

Laura is an amazing therapist! She truly never makes me feel judged and always ensures she is getting to the deeper route of my concerns. She is always incredibly pleasant and supportive and makes it easy to talk about things that I normally wouldn't feel comfortable sharing.

Having not been to therapy in a while I was really nervous, but Laura made me feel comfortable. She explained everything about what our sessions would be like and defined key terms I needed to know. Really appreciate her insight!
