I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada at Reno. I have a teaching credential from Sierra Nevada College and a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from Cal Poly Pomona.
I have many years of experience working with individual adults 18 years and older.
I have worked in community behavioral health experience working in community behavioral health settings, medical settings (hospice, hospital and dialysis) and school settings. I have worked with clients on various issues including grief, end of life, trauma, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety among other challenging life experiences. I have worked in the areas of medical social work (managing medical diagnoses, hospice, and dialysis.)
I use interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, DBT, mindfulness, imagery, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and hypnotherapy.
