About me

I am licensed doctoral-level psychologist in Georgia with 24 years of professional work experience. I have worked in community mental health, college counseling centers, veteran's evaluation offices, a behavioral health clinic for women and private practice both online and in person. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, postpartum depression, grief, dual career issues, traumatic experiences, emotional abuse, depression, sociocultural discrimination, veteran’s adjustment issues, coming out, grief and much more.

I believe the foundation of good therapy is the creation of a positive relationship between the therapist and client. As an expert I bring to the relationship, my training and experiences as a professional and as woman. You bring with you your life experiences, your beliefs, your feelings and a host of other things that make you an expert on you. We collaborate about helping you find your solutions to the problems you are facing.

As a therapist, my clients experience me as supportive, compassionate, pragmatic, intelligent and resourceful. I like to think of myself as a creative problem solver. I value my client’s perspective and feedback regarding your work together. I have a passion for helping my clients find their way to a better, more fulfilling and more peaceful state of mind.

If you think I would be helpful to you, please feel free to schedule an initial meeting to discuss what you are wanting to change and to see we are a good fit to work together.
