It takes courage to seek help. I believe that every person can benefit from self-reflection and developing more effective ways to cope with the difficult parts of life. My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic. I strive to create collaborative therapeutic relationships with my clients with respect for each person's autonomy and strength. My passion for helping others led me toward obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2011. In 2013, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over six years of experience working with young adults and adults in a PHP/IOP setting as well as in private practice. I aim to meet clients where they're at with empathy and compassion. I have provided therapeutic support for people facing various mental health struggles, including anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. Utilizing skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy, I work to empower clients to make choices that align with their personal goals and values.
As a self-identified "Highly Sensitive Person" (Elaine Aron, 2012), I understand what it is like to feel deeply and be more attuned to the "subtleties" in my environment. I believe that many people seeking therapy have this strength as well and have also experienced the stigma that exists around this trait. I want people to know they are not alone and that feeling deeply, although painful at times, can also provide fullness to life. Some of the things that fill up my life are nature, animals, friends, family, movement, and creativity. I recently moved back to Colorado in hopes of connecting more with the outdoors and a peaceful lifestyle. I am grateful to be here and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a guide for you toward the life you want.

Lauren is amazing! She always knows how to talk through things and truly cares about progress and goals. Lauren is a good listener and very supportive. It's nice to have someone who empathizes rather than someone who judges. She encourages a positive outlook on life by pointing out and acknowledging even the smallest of accomplishments. Lauren is super chill and is very easy to connect with because she mirrors the same context you speak in. If you're tone is serious, she'll match that. If you are being light-hearted, so will she. I couldn't ask for a better counselor because she always has a worksheet or story to share during times of struggle which can be really motivating. Lauren opens a path to healing while providing resources and love on the way. Thanks Lauren!
Lauren is truely down to Earth and client centered. I also come back feel better after talking to her. Would recommend her to everyone I meet.
Lauren is a very kind and antentive counselor. She's there when I feel I need her most and more importantly she pays attention to the details of what is going on with me. I hope she knows that I am very grateful to have her available to me and I consider her a friend as well as my counsel.
The convenience of email and video sessions have been great for my hectic work schedule. I can quickly refocus when I am having a hard day with a simple email to my therapist. Happy you have a tool and a therapist that understands.
Lauren is a fantastic counselor. She has helped me work through many personal issues in the small time frame that I have had with her thus far. She is so understanding, empathetic, and takes the best approach to help you work through your problems. Not only do I really appreciate her, but I also highly recommend her as well. Thank you Lauren!
Lauren is sweet and empathetic! Great at asking questions that make you reflect on yourself deeply and giving exercises as needed to work on issues like anxiety and negative thoughts.
Since I have been talking to Lauren she has helped me out so much! She really listens and helps me get through the hard times.
Lauren is an answered prayer for me. I have had trouble finding the right counselor. She is extremely patient, empathetic, and understanding. She makes herself available and responds in a reasonable time. I have had trouble explaining how I feel, and she pointed out a character trait that describes me perfectly. She offers tools to help manage what is going on in your life. I could not speak highly enough about Lauren. She has made a large impact on me in a short time.
