Welcome! My name is Lauren and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. I received my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, and have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. Over the past 5 years I have worked in a variety of clinical environments, with the majority of my time spent helping individuals, couples, and families in a private practice setting. Much of my experience has been centered on helping teens and young adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief/loss, and major life transitions.
I would describe my therapeutic style as supportive, non-judgmental and authentic. I am passionate about working together to create an environment built on trust and understanding. My approach involves encouraging healing, self-awareness, and personal growth and helping you find your full potential.
I utilize different therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual and their goals. My foundation is based in cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy, and I also enjoy integrating techniques of mindfulness, existentialism, and family systems therapy.
My goal is to support and guide you through overcoming challenges, and help you find the necessary tools to create positive changes in your life. I look forward to working with you!

Lauren is super helpful and very responsive.
I have been working with Lauren for almost 3 weeks on LGBT issues and relationships and health issues and trauma. She is an excellent therapist. She is a very good listener and very caring. She has helped me to get over some trauma of an abusive relationship from my past. She is also helping me to start some new relationships in the present and with career issues and some recent health challenges. I highly recommend her. She is a very good therapist.
Lauren is a great! She is very quick to pick up on things and help me dig into things and she is always very kind. She is very thoughtful in her responses and easy to talk to.
