About Me

"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen." -Brené Brown

I believe in the potential for change and growth at any stage of life, and that we each possess personal strengths that help us cope with life's challenges. I aim to be a compassionate guide to help my clients make sense of struggles, conflicts, and life experiences. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Together we'll shine a light on the things that aren't serving you, such as negative thinking, unhelpful patterns, or unhealthy relationships. We will move toward healing by tapping into your inner resilience and transforming insight into actionable change.

My approach to psychotherapy is holistic, relational, and strengths-based. I strive to honor the uniqueness of every individual and create a safe space free of judgment and shame.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with ten years of experience in mental health.
I work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, mood disorders and psychosis, and people of all ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in women's issues.

Professional Training: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Psychosis, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, Applied Suicide Prevention

Lauren is attentive, caring, and emphatic. I wasn't sure about BetterHelp at first but Lauren is great. I truly feel like she cares and is helping me work through some things. It can be difficult to find a counselor. I am glad that I was paired with Lauren.
