I was hesitant about doing counseling online, but now I think it really comes down to the counselor. I have been really pleasantly surprised at how much I have benefitted from these sessions. Lauren is obviously very knowledgable and professional. She has really helped me think through things in new ways, which is of course helping me heal in new ways. I am so grateful for her and this platform!

Lauren listens and learns well. She’s engaged, and is also somewhat aggressive in her therapy which is good for me. She’s intelligent and gives great advice.

Lauren has taught me how to be able to control my emotion and communicate with my spouse (whom is a very difficult person) in a way that makes him think about what I’m telling him and make an effort in reasoning with me rather than arguing with me and getting to no where..

I have been in and out of counseling/therapy for the last 14 years. BetterHelp offers a new way to take control of my mental health and Lauren has played a critical role in my mental health journey thus far. I love that she offers multiple options for sessions (video, phone, live chat) as well as messaging throughout the day. Her head-on approach in identifying and understanding my struggles makes sessions efficient and her ability to isolate core issues allows for targeted care. I am so grateful for what she has done for me already.
