Lauren is so kind and so patient. She takes the time to really understand what I'm saying and helps me to think about things in a different way and see things from a different perspective. I highly enjoy having her to help me through difficult situations!

I feel that Lauren truly listens to my concerns and addresses them in ways that are so helpful for me. She also gives me “homework“ that is extremely productive, and helps me to work through my issues on a daily basis, not just during a weekly session. I feel that she genuinely cares about my well-being and has specific goals in mind to help me overcome my problems. I feel comfortable messaging her if I need to, and she is very warm and welcoming to talk with. I trust her to hear my most difficult behaviors and issues and help me in both a timely and nurturing manner, and she is very non-judgmental. She is the first counselor of several I have had over the past few years who I felt safe enough to open up completely so I can receive the help I need.

This has been my first experience with online counseling. I was a little unsure on how effective it would be and whether it would feel useful. I have really enjoyed the convenience of being able to complete the sessions from various locations. I have done some sessions at work, while traveling home from work and at home. The ability to meet with Lauren virtually via either video session or phone session has been easy with just a couple IT issues we've had to work through along the way. Lauren has been a great resource for me and has helped me put many of my stressors and issues into perspective. She brings great energy to our sessions and is a good listener. I really feel like she cares about what I'm going through with my new job change and has helped me understand that my feelings are normal and I can work through them. I have enjoyed my time working with Lauren as my counselor. She is great at what she does!
