I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist from North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working as a social worker. I have recently relocated to Oklahoma and also licensed as a social worker in this state. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, work-life balance challenges, creating healthy habits and disordered eating. I also helped many people who have experienced problems with addiction. I have worked in various settings including Child Protective Services, Outpatient Treatment for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Residential Treatment for Alcohol and Substance Abuse, and Inpatient Treatment for Adolescent Eating Disorders.
I do not currently offer evening or weekend sessions.
My therapy style is warm and collaborative. I believe in helping people find their own truth and path to contentment. My approach combines motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical-behavioral approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to pursue a life that is in alignment with your values, as well as to find your own meaning and purpose. If you are ready to get unstuck, I am here to support and empower you.
