About Me

You don’t recognize yourself anymore. You used to laugh. You used to be a fun person. You used to enjoy life. Now you don’t want to do the things you used to love, things that bring you joy. Hell, you have a hard time even leaving the house just to go to work or school. Maybe your friends and family have even noticed and are making comments (not always helpful ones, either). Something happened. Maybe you know what it is, maybe you don’t. All you know is that you are not the same person you used to be, and you don't like it.
So here you are. You know that you’re still in there somewhere. I’ll help you process what happened and untangle yourself from all of that. You’ll get your smile back, your laugh. You’ll finally be able to recognize and LIKE the person in the mirror. I specialize in helping you through major life changes, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
I use EMDR, CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy in my office and online. You’ll find that I march to the beat of my own drum, just like you do! I’m a real person, and I use real talk. Call me today and let’s talk about how I can help you become the person you were before “stuff” happened.

Lea is fantastic. She is hands down the best counselor I've ever seen. She listens and genuinely cares. Lea isn't stiff and serious. She is able to communicate with me in a way that makes me feel safe, understood, comfortable, and heard. I would not recommend anyone else.

Lea has been so helpful and kind and funny which has helped me really calm down and feel like I’m not drowning anymore. I’m able to be myself and open and honest with her and I know she will listen and help me find the tools to help myself which is important to me. I’ve had a lot going on lately. A lot of ptsd and she has helped me navigate my emotions and my reactions so I can continue to grow and be better

I really enjoy Lea. She has really gotten my trust and I feel very comfortable opening up to her. I enjoy that she is here whenever I need someone to talk to.

Lea and I have only been working together for a couple weeks but I have already gained so much insight into my own mind! Lea is very easy to talk to has a sense of humor which helps me relax and feel comfortable.

Thank you so much, Lea, I look forward to working with you further!

I very much recommend Lea. She's knowledgeable, supportive, understanding, and for the most part prompt in response. She helped me through a rough patch in ways I never otherwise experienced.
