About me

My practice focuses on restoring hope to those who have lost it. My goal as a counselor is to provide support and practical feedback to help people resolve current problems and gain more satisfaction out of life, both present and future. I work to help people find their own inner strength and resolve along life’s sometimes difficult journey. I am dedicated to helping people enjoy life more fully. Some clients find they can begin to experience emotional release after just a few sessions. Others prefer to explore long-standing issues over an extended period of counseling sessions. I offer both short- and long-term therapy, depending on client need.

Through counseling, I asssist clients to find their way to emotional freedom and begin to experience the life they were intended to live.

LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor. I am licensed in Georgia, and am a member of the GA Licensed Professional Counselor Association, as well as the American Counseling Association.

M.Ed. represents my Master's degree in Education specialized in Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Wofford College and my master’s degree in counseling from the University of New Orleans, one of the most respected counseling programs in the nation.

NCC represents my certification with the National Board for Certified Counselors, the nation's premier professional certification board devoted to credentialing counselors who meet high standards for professional counseling.
