About me

I am a clinical social worker licensed in Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience helping people improve their mental health and wellbeing. I worked as an Army Mental Health Specialist from 2001 to 2009, helping service members and their families in the US and overseas. I then worked for eight years as a Mental Health Intensive Case Manager with the Veterans Affairs Healthcare systems in Massachusetts and Hawaii. After four years as a responder on the Veterans and Military Crisis Line, I moved solely to private practice. Through these experiences, I have not only gained expertise helping service members, but also a deep understanding of many mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family problems, career challenges, and trauma. I have a deep empathy for folks from all walks of life and believe in the power of setting goals in therapy to improve one's experience.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and I also have a sense of humor. My therapy approach combines cognitive-behavior mindfulness and a focus on goals and solutions.

Although your life challenges are unique, there is truly nothing new under the sun and you are not alone. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

Therapist is very good and fits perfectly for what I was looking for, he also sends me help information to deal with the issues I am dealing with. Couldn’t be happier.

Lee is absolutely amazing! He actually listens and responds with intelligence, care, and all of the above. I couldn’t have asked for a better match. Especially being former military. He has an understanding that I know I need. He’s also very easy to talk to, and he will tell you how it is in a way that helps you to understand. Most highly recommend. Only if the VA could hire more therapists like him lol.

I’ve been to therapy on and off for the past 5 years. I almost lost faith in it because I was never able to find a therapist I felt comfortable sharing with. Lee was the first therapist I consistently returned to. I look forward to continuing my meetings with him and can’t recommend him enough.
