I am a clinical social worker licensed in Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience helping people improve their mental health and wellbeing. I worked as an Army Mental Health Specialist from 2001 to 2009, helping service members and their families in the US and overseas. I then worked for eight years as a Mental Health Intensive Case Manager with the Veterans Affairs Healthcare systems in Massachusetts and Hawaii. For the last four years I have been a responder on the Veterans and Military Crisis Line. Through these experiences, I have not only gained expertise helping service members, but also a deep understanding of many mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family problems, career challenges, and trauma. I have a deep empathy for folks from all walks of life and believe in the power of setting goals in therapy to improve one's experience.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and I also have a sense of humor. My therapy approach combines cognitive-behavior mindfulness and a focus on goals and solutions.
Although your life challenges are unique, there is truly nothing new under the sun and you are not alone. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Lee is a great therapist to talk to! He’s a wonderful listener and exudes warmth in his manner and communication skills.
I’ve been to therapy many times before and never felt like I was able to connect with anyone. This is the best experience I’ve had by far and it motivates me to keep coming back.
I really enjoy speaking with Lee!
