About Me

I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensed in California with close to 10 years of experience working as therapist and close to 20 years working as a social worker. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting/ family problems, career challenges, OCD, discrimination issues and more.
I believe that life is hard sometimes for all of us. There are times when we all could benefit from having someone listen in a nonjudgmental way, encourage us to explore our feelings and thoughts, provide different perspectives on the problem or issues at hand and ask questions that help us discover ways to make changes. Therapy is not about stigmatizing people or putting labels on people, it is about supporting people as they make the attempt to explore the idea of changing their life and growing in new directions. I am happy to explore and discuss a persons particular diagnosis if it is relevant to our goals in treatment, such as learning more about a diagnosis and how to cope with it in a healthier way. As a therapist, it is an honor to provide support for a client as they take courageous steps towards their personal growth and empowerment.

I will always treat you with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and expressive arts if there is interest. Ultimately, our work together is not one-size-fits-all. We will get to know each other and discuss goals and treatment plans that are unique to you and ways that you would like to grow in your life.

I look forward to working with you!

Lesli has been such a blessing. I've been in therapy since I was 14 years old and no other service has ever compared to the support I feel with Lesli. I have been working with Lesli for a little over a year now and I have no plans on switching so long as she stays :) She takes notes and saves them and helps me dig deep into my childhood experiences to better understand myself. I truly feel so much better when working with her.

I love Leslie! I’ve been seeing her for over 2 years and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve never committed to therapy this long, and it has a lot to do with how amazing my therapist is. She’s always responsive, always makes time when I need it, and listens in ways no one has. She’s amazing at her craft, I’m beyond grateful for her.

Lesli is not only the best counselor I have ever met in my life, but also the best person as well! I have never had someone truly listen to me and show understanding in what I am going through and it was so comforting whenever I spoke with her. She has helped me so much and I will forever be grateful for our work together.

Lesli is a great therapist. Very warm and curious and interested and knows where she wants to go. And she uses a variety of modalities and methods.

I had never done therapy before and I'm glad Leslie was my first therapist. I hear stories of people trying 2 or more therapists before they finally find one that fits but I found mine first go. She listens intently and takes notes, referencing things from our first session even over a month later. She gives plenty of ways to overcome my problems and even responded to messages on her off days when I really needed. Excellent therapist and an even better person.

Leslie is a very outstanding person. And I'm happy to be a client of hers. I've came so far in a short period of time and it works.

Work with me!
