I have been a counselor for over 16 years and am currently licensed in the state of Texas. I have worked with individuals and families regarding issues such as divorce, blended families, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma and ADHD. I am also a certified MBTI counselor and have helped individuals learn more about their themselves and their preferences so that they are able to find more passion and purpose in their career.
I believe that developing trust and creating an atmosphere where clients are able to share their innermost thoughts and feelings in a completely non-judgemental setting are some of the most important factors in counseling. During our sessions I will listen intently and help you work toward the goals you want to accomplish. I use a combination of client-centered, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies as well as motivational-interviewing techniques. I believe the ultimate purpose of counseling is to help people overcome the difficulties that are holding them back and find true meaning and purpose in their lives.
