Linda Wilson, LCSW
About me
Hello! I know starting counseling can be difficult. The first step is the most difficult and you have already done that! Kudos to you! It is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. As a therapist, my style is collaborative and adjusted based on your needs. My approach to therapy is individualized often integrating cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused counseling.
My counseling style is supportive, encouraging, and positive. It's important to me to provide you a safe space to feel comfortable with exploring and sharing your process toward healing. I also believe in a non-judgmental approach with clients that builds trust, connection, and mutual respect. As a therapist, I've helped countless clients improve their emotional and mental health and I'm a firm believer that therapy can truly transform your life.
It is my priority to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you. I have over 13 years of clinical experience in various settings. My experience includes providing therapy to address childhood trauma, relationship concerns, communication concerns, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, coping with life changes, and PTSD. I have a Master of Social Work from Barry University. I am licensed in Florida as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).
Wherever you are in life right now, I will be here to listen, provide guidance, and support you toward what you want to achieve from seeking counseling. I'll work with you to create a plan and recommendations for your specific needs with the goal of improving your quality of life and well being.
In terms of availability, I check and respond to messages at least twice daily seven days a week. Also, I offer live chat and video sessions on select days.
I'm excited to meet you and look forward to helping you. ~Linda
