Dr. Lindsay Dees, Psychologist
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Forensic Psychologist and a Licensed Health Service Provider with 9 years in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings and with patients who experience a wide range concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, and trauma. I combine different therapeutic approaches based on the client's engagement and level of comfort. My goal is help you feel safe and supported throughout the treatment process.
A little bit about me... I spent 10 years active duty in the Navy as a helicopter mechanic. I then attended graduate school at Alliant International University in California and received a doctorate degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology. I have primarily worked in correctional and private practice settings, and I am very comfortable treating PTSD/combat trauma in our veterans. More recently, I earned a post-doctorate degree in psychopharmacology from Farleigh Dickinson University. This knowledge is very helpful in treatment planning of patients. I am licensed in the states of Iowa and Colorado.
