Lindsay McGarril

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 5 years experience and I specialize in working with adults struggling with a wide array of difficulties from anxiety, depression and addictions including substance use disorders and eating disorders. I feel there is nothing more important in life than human connection. The relationships we have in our lives whether it be with family, friends, colleagues and so on, are ones that give us purpose and serve as the glue that holds together our sense of community. But without first having a strong relationship with ourselves, building these relationships with others in our lives is impossible.

In our work together I will collaborate with you in an open and accepting manner to decrease self-destructive behavior patterns, and increase conflict resolution and coping skills. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to help you achieve your most optimal state of physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. By building this solid foundation, you will experience an increased sense of resiliency and self-esteem when faced with the inevitable stressors of life. This process will also help to strengthen the relationships you have and deepen your most important connections with others. You no longer have to go through anything alone and I am here to support you throughout this process!
