I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of mental health and counseling experience. I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in Clinical Counseling and School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.
I am passionate about providing the best counseling services possible for people from all walks of life. I use an approach that is non-judgmental and strive to empathize with all clients. A strong and positive relationship between counselor and client is of upmost importance and is necessary to facilitate positive change. I have experience working with people who struggle with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship & family issues, and addiction. I have spent a lot of my career working with children and adolescents which has given me unique insight into family dynamics and issues from the point of view of children and adolescents. This perspective is invaluable when trying to work through parenting issues. Advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy allows me the opportunity to teach people skills necessary to regulate emotions and lead a more fulfilling life.

So far things have been good, this is my first time really trying therapy for myself and I'm very excited to work with Lindsay, she seems very down to earth and even though I feel like I'm babbling she is very patient and listens to everything I say. I went into this thinking it was going to be pretty stupid but I'm seeing the value and feeling better about myself.
